The Epic Terminator Event Arrives in Season 2
Activision and Treyarch have officially announced an electrifying crossover event for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, featuring the iconic Terminator franchise. This collaboration promises to deliver a wealth of themed content as players gear up for Season 2, set to launch on January 28, 2025.
What to Expect in Season 2
In a recent blog post, the developers unveiled the upcoming seasonal content, including new maps, game modes, and weapons. Among the highlights is a limited-time event inspired by The Terminator, which introduces exclusive unlockable rewards and in-game store skins that feel like they’ve been crafted in a Skynet factory.
The Terminator Tracer Pack: A Must-Have
One of the standout features of this crossover is the Terminator Tracer Pack. This pack includes two unique skins that pay homage to the beloved T-800 cyborg, famously portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger. The first skin, Titanium Core, captures the chilling essence of the machine with its signature cold facial features and glowing red eyes. The second skin aims to replicate Schwarzenegger’s iconic look, bringing a nostalgic touch to the battlefield—though it may not perfectly mirror his younger appearance.
In addition to the skins, players can enjoy four Weapon Blueprints, a special finishing move, an emote titled “Tracking…Tracking…”, a “What Pain?” emblem, and a “Lookin’ Fly” calling card, all of which enhance the gaming experience.
Event Details: Collect and Conquer
The Terminator event will take place from February 6 to February 20, allowing players in Warzone, Multiplayer, and Zombies modes to collect skulls for a chance to unlock up to 13 exclusive rewards. This event is part of a larger series of events, including Shadow Hunt and the St. Patrick’s Day: Clover Craze, which will provide even more opportunities for unlockable upgrades throughout February and March. Activision and Treyarch have hinted at further announcements regarding the Season 2 Reloaded patch, keeping players on the edge of their seats.
